A local spa is providing soothing, healing, and up-scale
experiences for clients, providing an elegant mixture of
services, from anti-aging and holistic wellness therapies
to soothing and relaxing massage treatments.
SPA PRIMA —
TOUCH OF TUSCANY
Jack White, Kim Sarros, and Shirley McCarten
are the Spa Prima management team. Jack, the
Proprietor, manages the business. Kim, as the
General Manager, is responsible for the concept
of the facility, and handles issues of creativity
and concept. As Spa Director, Shirley maintains
the integrity of the spa. She manages the daily
operations plus oversees the staff of professional
therapists. Spa Prima provides a pure
Tuscan themed spa environment with no hair
treatments, freeing spa clients from the noise,
confusion, and odors that are sometimes associated
with rows of beautician chairs. It’s a
place for distraction-free relaxation. Spa Prima
has been modeled after
spas found in places like Napa Valley. Clients
can enjoy holistic treatments, therapeutic
treatments, or a mixture of the two. Facials
and peels are provided using procedures that
focus upon proven anti-aging remedies. A
number of near-decadent, luxurious therapies
are available including the “Raindrop” brand
aroma therapy, a hydrotherapy tub, and hot
stone massage. Luxurious spa manicures and
pedicures are performed in private rooms
which creates an experience dramatically superior
to the usual public treatment. Spa Prima
specializes in exceptional customer service.
Massage therapists are required to have a minimum
of 500 hours. Continuing education on a
monthly basis for all in-house technicians and
even the front-desk personnel helps the spa to
maintain its signature level of services providing
consistently superior treatment from all
the staff. Spajama Parties for groups from
three to eight women consist of special treatments
and decadent desserts. Spa packages
range from a 1.5 hour sampler to a full-day
“retreat” package. “Talented Spa Prima technicians
love what they do,” Shirley says, “and it
shows.” Then she adds, “Try one of their services
and you will love it too.”
