The Lo Pan informed Kilye that the best
orientation for the house, from the wife’s
point of view, was East, which was, fortunately,
the direction it faced. The family
business was in the wife’s name, which
was good because the front door and
back door were situated in directions
most favorable for the woman. The side
door was in a good orientation, as well.
Kilye divided the home into nine
regions and subdivided each of them into
nine separate sub-regions. She then
analyzed each of the 81 resulting subregions,
determining how each can play
its role in maximizing the flow of positive
chi throughout the entire structure.
Her assessment of the family’s home
led to such discoveries that the bed in the
master bedroom was oriented in a good
direction for the both the husband and
the wife, receiving a Plus 70 on the feng
shui rating scale that she was using.
